What do you like about/what attracted you to the VerifiedAgent concept?
The thing that attracted me to the Verified Agent concept was the simplicity of the concept and the fact that there is a need for third party Verification. Consumers can take comfort in the fact that an agent has been through a screening process that the vast majority of agents would not even qualify for. To get through all the filters, you really do have to be a quality professional.
What do you plan to do to leverage your new VPA™ status?
Now that I have become a Verified Professional Agent™ , I look forward using the site as a resource for referrals for sure and also plan on promoting it to other professionals so that we may take part in raising the standards in our industry. I definitely will look to refer business to other VPA™s, because it’s just as hard for me as an agent to find a quality agent to whom to refer clients as it is for the public to locate a quality agent. People don’t understand how often we as agents struggle to find other quality agents.
Why do you think your VPA gives you competitive advantage?
Being a VPA™ offers an advantage going into any appointment I have with folks who do not know me. It offers another level of due diligence for the consumer, and it also says to the consumer I care about what I do and how I serve the public and I am willing to prove it. It is a big plus to have the stamp of approval from a national third party company that is truly objective and independent and not affiliated with any brand or “insider” organization.
